The Thermal Smart Camera, meticulously designed and developed by C-DAC, is equipped with an in-built Data Processing Unit (DPU) capable of executing various AI-based analytics. The CSAT paper (GS Paper 2) is of qualifying nature, meaning candidates need to secure at least 33% marks (66 out of 200) to qualify. The marks obtained in GS Paper 1 are considered for the cut-off.

Cut-off: The cut-off for the Preliminary Examination is determined based on the marks obtained in GS Paper 1 only. Candidates need to clear the cut-off to qualify for the Main Examination.

The General Studies Paper 1 is a crucial component of the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination.
