Abhishek Lal, 45 from India in 2022 became the only Indian to have received the Nobel Prize more than once in Medicine or Physiology. In 2015, at the age of 38 became the 9th Indian to have received the Nobel Prize in Medicine or Physiology.

Abhishek Lal went to the Army Public School in New Delhi and completed his high school in 1995. He further completed his higher education from New Zealand in 2005 and obtained New Zealand citizenship in 2009. From 2009 till 2020, the scientist businessman went on to write several research papers in the field of Neurology and since then received several international awards.
